Quetta receives heavy rain

Areas of Balochistan including Quetta, Kalat, Khuzdar, Mastung, Chaman, Pishin, Lasbella, Dalbandin, Sibbi, Barkhan and Panjgur received heavy rain yesterday.

The rain turned weather pleasant and dropped mercury down. The rain, however, caused overflowing of sewerage system in the city.

The rainfall recorded in respective districts including Dalbandin, 07.0mm, Khuzdar, 17.7mm, Panjgur, 03.0mm, Quetta, 11.0mm, Lasbella, 02.0mm, Sibbi, 02.0mm, Barkhan , 02.0mm and Kalat, 00.5mm. No causality was reported during down pour.

The Met Office forecast partly cloudy with chances of thunderstorm and rain weather for Quetta, Kalat, Makran, Zhob, Nasirabad and Sibbi today as well.
