Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar called up Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi and formally invited his party for the negotiations.

According to sources, the two leaders discussed the tentative date for the resumption of dialogues between the protesting PTI and the government.

Qureshi remarked that the date will be decided in a party meeting following due course of consultation with other party leaders.

It should be mentioned here that the PTI tapped Qureshi and Asad Umar to be the part of two-member committee for the negotiations.

The sources privy to the PTI circles said Shafqat Mehmood and Dr. Arif Alvi are also expected to be taken on board the committee.
