The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif has visited the flood-hit Jalalpur Bhattian in district Hafizabad and also inspect the arrangements for the relief of flood-victims
The prime minister visited different areas of Jalapur Bhattian along with Federal Information Minister, Pervez Rasheed and the Chief Secretary Punjab, Saira Afzal Tarar.
Addressing the flood affectees in Jalapur Bhattian, the Nawaz Sharif said that a flood with such a intensity was not predicted, while unanticipated heavy rains also added to the plights, making the situation worse.
Prime Minister also directed local authorities for making arrangements to shift the cattle to safer places and to immediately provide boats where needed.
