Polio workers on Monday rejected to participate in anti-polio drive in Karachi due to delay in their salaries.
According to details, anti-polio campaign by Sindh Government was to be launched today in Landhi, Korangi, Baldia Town and Ibrahim Haidri but polio workers in Ibrahim Hairdri refused to participate as they have not received their salaries yet.
Moreover, polio drive suspended for two hours as workers demanded fool-proof security to carry out anti-polio campaign in sensitive areas of Baldia Town, Laandhi and Korangi.
