US State Department stated Pakistan could defend itself from terrorists.

On Tuesday in Washington, US State Department spokesperson Ned Price briefed reporters on the latest Pakistani National Security Committee statement. He said terrorism had devastated Pakistan. The US is closely monitoring the situation in Afghanistan and called on the Taliban to keep their promise not to use Afghan soil for international terrorist strikes.

The US State Department stated the Taliban hadn’t fulfilled their pledges.

The National Security Committee (NSC), led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, ordered Kabul not to offer safe havens to Pakistani terrorist groups.

Pakistan has seen a spike in terror attacks, notably in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan after the TTP ended the truce.

US State Department spokesman Ned Price said, “We’re aware of the recent Pakistani National Security Committee statement. Terrorist strikes have devastated Pakistan. Pakistan can fight terrorism. These terrorists are among the Taliban and have failed to fulfill promises “.
