The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the safe return of over 300 Pakistanis from Syria.
During a media briefing, Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch confirmed that these individuals had travelled to Syria primarily for religious purposes.
The Pakistani government has thanked Lebanese authorities for their swift visa issuance, which facilitated the repatriation of these citizens. Pakistan’s embassy in Syria continues to support all Pakistani nationals.
Baloch also discussed the international community’s responsibility towards global conflicts, urging global attention to alleged Israeli war crimes and reaffirming Pakistan’s support for Syria’s sovereignty.
She condemned Israel’s control of the Golan Heights, noting that external interventions would not solve Syria’s problems.
Pakistan has renewed its commitment to supporting Kashmiris politically and morally, advocating for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
Following the recent death of Khalil your Rahman Haqqani, Pakistan’s Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister extended their condolences.

Additionally, the seventh meeting between Pakistan and Tajikistan in Islamabad focused on boosting trade and investment.
