Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif telephoned Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari and exchanged views on prevailing political situation in the country.
On the other hand, Asif Zardari called Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Ameer Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq.
In his conversation with Imran Khan, Zardari reiterated PPP’s endorsement to PTI’s demand for a vote recount in four constituencies of Lahore.
