Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif called an emergency meeting today to discuss and formulate a strategy to contend alarming situation caused by the heavy rain and floods across the country.
Chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) will brief the meeting to be presided over by PM Sharif.
The PM has already directed the federal ministers and other parliamentarians to rush to their constituencies to take part in the relief activities.
