Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will chair federal cabinet meeting today.
The meeting has been called to review the overall performance of ministries and departments. The PM also directed all the ministers to file their performance report.
The session will continue until the review of all ministries and departments is complete.
The performance of ministries of petroleum and natural resources, planning and railway will be reviewed on the first day and the audit report of the inflated electricity bills will also be tabled before the cabinet..
PM has also directed all ministers to apprise the cabinet about the performance of their respective ministries and departments since 2013 till November 2014.
According to the sources the cabinet may be reshuffled following the review of the performances. The portfolios of the ministers, who failed in making their mark since the formation of the government, will be changed and likely to be sacked over the poor performance.
