A five-judge larger bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk, will resume the hearing of the federal government’s appeal against former President Pervez Musharraf’s going abroad.
It should be mentioned here that the government moved the apex court against Sindh High Court’s June 12 order, seeking to keep his name on the ECL. The court, hearing the appeal, suspended the SHC ruling on June 23 and adjourned the case for four weeks.
However, the scheduled hearing could not take place owing to non-availability of the judges. Now, the five-strong bench will commence the hearing from today, as the bench stands completed.
