Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Barrister Farogh Naseem refuted reports regarding party chief Altaf Hussain’s arrest.
Farogh Naseem said Scotland Yard officers were investigating Altaf Hussain at his residence.
“London police are recording Altaf Hussain’s statement at his residence” he said.
According to sources, MQM chief Altaf Hussain was arrested by Metropolitan Police at a residential address in northwest London.
Scotland Yard meanwhile refused to confirm the name of the person arrested.
