Karachi: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Thursday submitted a resolution against Defence Minister Khawaja Asif in Sindh Assembly for speaking against the armed forces of the country.
The move came after a similar resolution was submitted against the MQM chief Altaf Hussain yesterday.
MQM MPAs said that they will take up the issue at every forum.
MQM also submitted a requisition in the Secretariat for summoning an emergency session of Sindh Assembly at the earliest. The request was filed by MQM MPA Syed Sardar Ahmed.
The statements by Khawaja Asif as well as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan will be taken up during the session.
