Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) announced to call off sit-ins in Karachi after the release of eight workers.
MQM leader Faisal Sabzari, talking to media on Friday’s wee hours said ” Approximately 8 arrested workers, are being freed; meanwhile, legal procedures are being adopted for the release of the remaining”.
On Wednesday late night Karachi Rangers arrested by 15 MQM workers while in a raid on party’s main office on Abul Isfahani Road.
Sabzwari alleged that MQM supports are specifically being targeted in Karachi operation, but not at the cost of injustices and wrongdoings to the others. He also added his party will continue raising its voice against all injustices.
The MQM leader emphasised the decision to end the sit-in has been made after the release of party workers.
