Minorities MPA Handery Masieh, a member of the Balochistan Assembly, was shot dead in Quetta earlier today.
Handery Masih’s personal security guard sprayed bullets on him outside his residence in Nawa Killi area of Quetta.
He was shifted to FC Hospital where he lost the battle for his life.
Minority MPA Handery Masieh belonged to the National Party. He was elected in the Balochistan Assembly on the reserved seat for minorities from NM-65 constituency.
Handery Masieh’s nephew was also injured in the shooting incident.
According to sources, the security guard identified as Ghulam Mohiuddin has been arrested. He was serving the Baloch lawmaker for last 12 years, however, motive behind the attack could not be ascertained as yet.
