London: Max Dowman’s title-winner status was confirmed after Arsenal clinched the Premier League title, making the midfielder the youngest champion in competition history.
Arsenal secured the title when Manchester City drew at Bournemouth on Tuesday. Dowman will be 16 years and 144 days old on the final day of the campaign.
Premier League champions receive 40 medals. Players must make at least five league appearances to qualify, and Dowman has played five games as a substitute this season.
Dowman broke the record held by Phil Foden. Foden was 17 years and 350 days old when he won his first league title with Manchester City in 2017-18.
Dowman became the youngest player in Premier League history on his senior debut in August 2025. He was 15 years and 235 days old.

In November 2025, he became the Champions League’s youngest player at 15 years and 308 days. He later became the Premier League’s youngest scorer.
That scoring record came in March, when Dowman scored late in Arsenal’s 2-0 home win over Everton. He was 16 years and 73 days old.
The Max Dowman title winner record places him ahead of Foden, Rico Lewis, Brahim Diaz, Gael Clichy and Rafael da Silva on the Premier League’s youngest winners list.
