Lahore:A sessions court sentenced a man to 25 years in prison on Tuesday (today) after he was found guilty of disrespecting sacred scriptures, a local media outlet reported.
Zulfiqar’s case was presided by Additional District and Sessions judge Shazib Saeed. The court heard statements and found the prisoner guilty, according to reports.
The court also ordered to seize all movable and immovable assets of Zulfiqar, according to sources.
A case had been registered against him by Race Course station police in 2006.
