An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Thursday sentenced life imprisonment to ten convicts involved in 2012 gun attack on Pakistani Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai in Swat valley.
The accused were arrested by security forces from Mingora and adjacent areas during a search operation.
In today’s hearing ATC sentenced life imprisonment to the accused who were found guilty in the case.
17-year-old Malala had fought for right of girls to education in her home region, leapt to global fame after Taliban tried to gun her down in October 2012.
