The Lahore High Court has reserved decision over whether the petition seeking Prime Minister’s disqualification is hearable or not on Wednesday.
Advocate Ahmad Qureshi plead that PM is accused of rigging the general election of 2013; hence the government formulated is on a fake mandate.
He said elections at various national and provincial constituencies were massively rigged whereas the prime minister has ordered to form a judicial commission to investigate the discrepancies, the court should therefore order the PM to step down as long as the investigation continues.
Hearing out the preliminary arguments, the court has reserved its judgment over whether the petition is hearable or not.
