A three days public gathering (Ijtema) of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) will commence from today (Friday) at Minaar-e-Pakistan in Lahore.
The JI ijtema will begin after Friday communal prayers and would be concluded on Sunday’s afternoon.
Chief of Jamaat-e-Islam Siraj-ul-Haq stated that only JI can improve the critical situation of Pakistan, therefore, JI is bringing a new pathway of revolution.
Participants from remote areas have started reaching the venue in a form of rallies whereas a separate part of the venue has been reserved for the stay of women supporters.
600 cooks have been hired to provide food at two times to the attendees of the meeting whereas administration has assured the arrangement of 1000 washrooms for women and 2000 washrooms for men.
