Reality television star Kourtney Kardashian has taken to Instagram to officially reveal her baby bump to the world, sharing her gratitude and joy for the new addition to her family.
In a heartfelt post on Sunday, the 44-year-old “Kardashians” star announced her pregnancy with a series of intimate photos, underlining her feelings with the caption, “Overwhelmed with gratitude and joy for God’s blessing and plan.”
The announcement comes after the star initially revealed her pregnancy at her husband Travis Barker’s concert by holding a sign in the audience.
A Joyous Celebration
In the shared photos, the Blink-182 drummer, aged 47, can be seen playfully drumming on his pregnant wife’s belly, signifying the couple’s shared enthusiasm and playful rapport. The couple is also pictured sharing a tender moment, with Barker planting a kiss on Kardashian’s growing baby bump.
Kardashian and Barker, who married in a grand Italian wedding in May 2022, have openly discussed their aspirations to have a child together on Kardashian’s Hulu show. After facing challenges in conceiving naturally, they explored in vitro fertilization and several herbal remedies. However, Kardashian announced in a recent episode that they had decided to stop pursuing IVF treatments.
Despite their struggles, Kardashian remains optimistic, stating, “We would love a baby more than anything, but I just really believe in what God has in store for us. If that’s a baby, then I believe that it will happen.”
A Blended Family
This will be Kardashian’s fourth child; she already has three children—Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 8—from her previous relationship with Scott Disick. On the other hand, Barker has three children—Landon, 19, Alabama, 17, and stepdaughter Atiana, 24—with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler. This new addition to their family signifies a beautiful blend of their respective pasts and shared futures.
