Karachi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan, is anticipating a warmed welcome with eggs and tomatoes ahead of his visit to NA-246 in Karachi.
Khan while addressing a press conference at NA 246’s candidate Imran Ismail’s residence said“I have heard that our rivals have gathered eggs and tomatoes to welcome me. I am ready to face any situation,” .
Khan claimed himself to be a ‘Mohajir’.
Khan welcomed Altaf Hussain’s statement over his visit to Karachi.
Khan once again reiterated that if anything bad happened to his workers he will go to UK court against the MQM chief.
The PTI chief alleged that fear was created by killing her party leader Zahra Shahid outside her residence in Karachi on election day.
Hussain had welcomed Khan’s arrival in Karachi and said that political parties should have a spirit of tolerance for each other despite political and ideological differences.
Khan said that his party is trying to persuade Jamat-e-Islami to support PTI’s candidate in NA-246 by-polls, which is scheduled to be held on April 23.
He said he would visit Jinnah Ground in Azizabad tomorrow, adding that the people of Karachi want change
