Karakoram Express three coaches derailed near Nawabshah (Sindh) on Wednesday morning, atleast two passengers were killed and at least 15 others injured.
Railway authorities said the incident took place due to technical faults at railways crossing point. The train was heading to Karachi from Lahore. The locomotive of the passenger train also careened off the track.
Police and relief teams rushed to the site and shifted the injured to nearby Peoples Medical College Hospital. Of the 15 wounded, six are in critical state.
Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has ordered enquiry into the incident claiming that the train incident was not terrorism
