Indonesian Foreign Minister Tento Lestari Marsudi in a statement in a local media said “True, he had passed away, at 00:50 local time”
Retno added that the envoy’s body will be brought to Indonesia on Tuesday.
Muhammad had suffered 3rd degree burns in the MI-17 helicopter crashed just before landing in Naltar Valley.

On May 12, the Indonesian envoy was flown for treatment to Singapore.
