A terrorist allegedly belonging to the Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) made shocking revelations and also confessed to having received training in India.
A popular local news channel SAMAA TV received the interrogation report of the RAW agent, Arif alias Anda.
According to the report, the criminal revealed to the investigators that he went to Delhi and Mumbai in 1992 and received weapons training from the Indian intelligence agency.
The Indian agent also disclosed that the boys who come from Karachi stayed with Javed Langra, adding also the boys used to come through different routes of Nepal, Bangladesh and South Africa.
It should be mentioned here that Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Sindh Police arrested the terrorist during yesterday’s raids in various Karachi areas including Baldia Town.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Naveed Khawaja, police also recovered hand grenades and weapons from Indian agent Muhammad Arif.
According to the report, the criminal told the investigation team that Delhi police arrested him in 2000 but when he introduced himself as a RAW agent, this report was broken to Indian media.
It should be mentioned here that the accused Arif is an employee of Karachi Water and Sewerage Board.
Meantime, a special cell has been established at the CTD to monitor the activities of Indian intelligence agency. The cell also has been tasked to log the details of interrogations with the RAW agents arrested from across Sindh province.
