Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahir-ul-Qadri (TUQ) on Sunday announced that he will soon announce sit-ins across the country for revolution. He said that Faisalabad has given its verdict in favor of the revolution. He said that nation is with him and Faisalabad will prove it in the coming elections. He said he will fight the looters with the help of poor’s money.
Speaking at his party’s Faisalabad rally, Qadri demanded financial assistance and moral support from the participant and general citizens for success in next elections and said, “Give me vote, note (money) and support and I will give you revolution”.
TUQ said “My fault was that I gave a 10 points agenda for the welfare of the poor in this country, i announced to provide free education to all, i announced to make a non-violent country, I announced to provide basic necessities of life at half rates to the poor, i talked of providing food and shelter to the poor”
Qadri maintained that he is neither a feudal nor a capitalist, so if people will provide him with vote, support and note (money) he will give Jinnah’s Pakistan back to the people.
The revolutionary cleric promised to make Faisalabad, Sargodha and Multan into provinces if his party comes into power. Moreover, he vowed to make new divisions in Seraiki Belt according to the will of locals.
He said that his only crime is that he raised voice for the poor people of the country and was punished with the Model Town tragedy for the crime.
