Four militants were killed by security forces during clashes at Ghundi area of Jamrud town in Khyber Agency on Tuesday.
Several other militants were also reported injured in clashes.
Local administration has said that curfew has been imposed in the area for an indefinite period. Heavy contingents of security forces have been deployed in the area to curb the violence.
On the other hand, the security forces have launched a search operation in Khyber Agency.
