The Foreign Office (FO) of Pakistan briefed the ambassadors of different countries about the present situation at the Line of Control (LoC) and the Working Boundary.
According to details, foreign diplomats were briefed by the officials of the Pakistan Army, Foreign Secretary and Special Aide to the PM on Foreign Affairs, Tariq Fatimi.
The FO Spokesperson, Tasneem Aslam briefed that the foreign diplomats about Pakistan’s concerns over unprovoked firing and shelling by the Indian forces, across LoC and the Working Boundary.
“These envoys were requested to inform their respective states about Pakistan’s reservations on the issue and to mount diplomatic pressure on India to hold bilateral talks” she added.
On this occasion, military officials told that Indian forces reacted negatively to ceasefire by Pakistani forces.
