The Embassy of Japan in Washington D.C. from @JapanEmbDC, its official X (formerly Twitter) account, clarified that Taylor Swift will seamlessly transition from her concert commitments in Tokyo to attending Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, where the Kansas City Chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers.
Swift, scheduled for four performances in Tokyo from February 7th to 10th, faces a tight schedule with the Super Bowl on February 11th. Despite a 12-hour flight and time difference, the embassy assured that Swift’s travel itinerary from Tokyo post-concert would align perfectly for her arrival in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl’s commencement.
In their statement, the embassy cleverly integrated titles from Swift’s discography—such as “Speak Now,” “Fearless,” and “Red”—to emphasize confidence in Swift’s ability to dazzle her fans in Japan and still support the Chiefs at the Super Bowl, attesting to her commitment as a fan throughout their season.
However, Swift’s rigorous schedule suggests she’ll need to recuperate quickly, akin to an athlete post-game, especially with upcoming tour dates in Australia that might preclude her participation in any victory parade should the Chiefs win.
