The terror outfit Tehrik-e-Taliban Paksitan (TTP) on Wednesday deplored Islamabad fruit market blast, saying such blasts are un-Islamic in which innocent civilians are targeted.
TTP Spokesman Shahidullah Shahid issued a one-page statement in Urdu following the deadly Islamabad blast early this morning in which at least 18 people were killed and over 40 were injured.
Shahid said that TTP is following its ceasefire commitment, adding that Pakistani people know which elements are behind bomb attacks at public places.
It should be noted that security agencies had warned of similar attacks in which the TTP will not take direct responsibility
