HOUSTON: Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, drew a reported 80,210 fans to Reliant Stadium on Saturday for a Halloween concert featuring appearances by Playboi Carti and his daughter, North West.
Reliant Stadium claimed a US stadium rap concert attendance record, while music platform Hip Hop All Day supplied the 80,210 figure, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Across nearly three hours, Ye performed material from his latest album, Bully, alongside songs spanning his career. He appeared atop an Earth-like spherical stage, with projected visuals, lasers and pyrotechnics surrounding the performance.
Playboi Carti joined him for several songs, while North’s appearance brought father and daughter together onstage.
Their performance followed Ye’s earlier public comments about how working with North had renewed his interest in making music.
“This little girl made me love music again,” he wrote in a 2025 social media post.
He explained that North had asked him to produce beats for her. That request brought him back to his ASR sampler, where he began chopping samples by hand for her project.
Saturday’s concert formed part of his 2026 Ye Live Concert Tour, bringing the stadium production to Texas for Halloween. The show combined the large visual setup with guest performances and selections from both his recent work and earlier releases.
Houston was one of the additional US stops announced for the tour, alongside another Texas date in Arlington and a performance in Phoenix. Ye is next scheduled to perform at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on November 7.
