The National Transmission and Dispatch Company (NTDC) Tuesday claimed that the countrywide electricity loadshedding has stopped for the time being, according to news reports.
NTDC said that the weather turning pleasant after rains has bridged the gap between the demand and supply of electricity and a new schedule of loadshedding would now be issued.
NTDC spokesman said that the demand and supply of electricity stand tied as both the demand and generation of electricity currently pegged at 11,000 megawatts making the (temporary) end of loadshedding possible.
