COAS confirmed the death sentence to 5 hardcore terrorist of Safoora carnage, Sabeen Mahmud.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the convicts were involved in Safoora Goth gun attack, murder of rights activist Sabeen Mehmud and bombing at a mosque of Bohra community.
A press statement issued by the military’s media wing, ISPR, said“Today Chief of Army Staff confirmed death sentences awarded to 5 hardcore terrorists who perpetrated Safoora Chowrangi bus attack and were also involved in IED blast near Saleh Masjid Karachi, killing of a social worker Sabeen Mahmud and attacks on LEAs,” .
