Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif reiterated that Pakistani military would stay in tribal areas until the restoration of peace.
COAS visited Mohmand Agency (FATA) right after reaching back from his visit to China.
According to DG Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said “Appreciating the tribesmen for playing a significant role in expelling terrorists from their area, Gen Sharif reiterated that Pakistan Army would not abandon the area without restoring normalcy,”
The COAS addressing to soldier applaud their professionalism, dedication and sacrifices while fighting terrorism in Mohmand Agency.
COAS was also briefed about the law and order situation of the area.
