In response to a complaint to the army chief Gen. Raheel Sharif by MQM leader Altaf Hussain, Lt. Gen Sajjad Gani has also formed a six-member committee, including three members from law-enforcement agencies and three from MQM, to review MQM’s grievances. He said the committee would probe all the complaints and would take action against the culprits.
The MQM chief Altaf Hussain had decided to write an open letter to Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif regarding Karachi operation. But after having an effective talk to Corps commander Karachi, he decided to postpone writing the letter.
