The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has cancelled his scheduled visit to Sri Lanka following the terrible bus attack in Karachi that left at least 43 people dead.
“COAS cancels his pre scheduled 3 days visit to Sri Lanka due to Karachi terrorist bus attack,” DG ISPR, Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa said on Twitter.
General Raheel Sharif was due to leave for Sri Lanka this evening on the invitation of Sri Lankan Army Commander Lieutenant General Crishanthe De Silva.
