London: European markets rose Tuesday, with the EURO STOXX 50 up 1.55% to 6,328.09 and Germany’s DAX up 1.50% to 24,995.81.
The Euronext 100 Index gained 25.33 points, or 1.33%, to 1,926.27. France’s CAC 40 rose 36.66 points, or 0.44%, to 8,403.99.
The FTSE 100 added 12.90 points, or 0.12%, to 10,497.12. Google Finance showed the EURO STOXX 50 at 6,328.09, up 96.46 points, or 1.55%, on June 30.
Live Index showed Germany’s DAX closed in Frankfurt at 24,995.80, up 368.92 points, or 1.50%.
The DAX finished just below the 25,000 level after outpacing major regional peers. The FTSE 100 lagged behind continental indexes, gaining 0.12%.

EUR/USD slipped 0.0002, or 0.01%, to 1.1421, while USD/GBP rose 0.0001, or 0.02%, to 0.7544.
