Peshawar: In the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) 703 madrassas (seminaries) have been blacklisted as part of the National Action Plan’s (NAP) implementation.
Sources said action against the blacklisted madrassas will be taken soon.
There are over 292 unregistered madrassas in North Waziristan and 204 in South Waziristan. Kurrum Agency has 95, Khyber Agency 36 and Mohmad Agency 26.
