Addressing the protesters from the top of his container, chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan said that the rulers are using police force to stop the movement. “If the bullets are fired, I am standing in the front row to take the first bullet.”
Imran Khan further stated, “We had knocked all doors to attain justice, but our plea was paid no heed for 14 months. I shall be putting my workers and supporters to test today; if we get victorious, nobody would be able to halt the making of Naya Pakistan.”
The government has changed the current Inspector General (IG) Police Islamabad and the new appointee has blocked all the roads with containers. Khan threatened the IG, warned him not to harass his people but talk to him directly.
“We intend to protest peacefully don’t provoke us”, he added.
