Two dacoits were killed while two police officers martyred in a police encounter in Karachi late yesterday night.
According to the police, the encounter took place in Bhains (Cattle) Colony where the dacoits opened fire when policemen tried to catch them.
Superintendent of Police (SSP) Malir Rao Anwar told the media that the dacoits were trying to flee after shooting the police officers. The policemen, Saeed and Aijaz, were taken to the hospital where they succumbed to the injuries.
