Election process of general elections 2013 has been challenged in the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Justice (retd) Mehmood Akhtar filed a petition, plead the court to declare null and void general elections of May 2013.
The petition plead that the Election Commission of Pakistan had failed to provide magnetic ink that had affected the transparency of the whole election process.
The petitioner prayed before the court that those responsible should be held accountable.
May 2013 elections have been in spot during the last few months with serious allegations of rigging levelled by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and other parties.
