Two suspects namely Rashid Tailor and Zahid Abbas accused of the Zahra Shahid’s murder case were brought before the anti-terrorism court in Karachi on Friday.
Court granted extension to the physical remand of the accused till October 13 as the police had requested the court to extend the remand as the investigation is still underway.
Port Basin police had detained the suspects charging them with the murder of Zahra Shahid.
Reportedly, the murder weapon has also been recovered from the arrested accused.
The police said that the accused are residents of Clifton Phase 1 area. Additional IG said that Zahra Shahid’s murder was indeed an act of targeted killing.
