Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth said the United States was “more than capable” of resuming the US-Iran war if needed, AFP reported.
Hegseth made the remarks in Singapore at the Shangri-La Dialogue. The forum is Asia’s premier defence summit.
He said US weapons stockpiles remained “more than suited” for renewed action. He cited supplies in the region and worldwide.
Hegseth said the Pentagon balances advanced precision weapons with more plentiful munitions. He pushed back against concerns over depleted US stocks.
