Gujranwala police has arrested Zahid Inayat alias Tumma Butt along with 4 of his accomplices on Wednesday.
Tumma Butt was involved in celebratory firing on the occasion of Station House Officer (SHO) Inspector Tahir Farooq Cheema’s son’s wedding.
In a press conference Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Operations Captain (Retired)Ali Zia informed that Tumma Butt has been arrested along with 4 associates. He also confirmed that ammunition was also confiscated from the culprits during the arrest.
Disclosing their identities, the SSP Operations also said that the Tumma Butt, Tanvir alias Tipu, Imran Dar, Waqas Butt and Allah Log But are among the confiscated and case had been registered against the convicts in various police stations.
Chief Minster (CM) of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif took notice of the incident after it was highlighted by the media. CM Punjab also ordered the arrest of those involved after the incident came to light.
