At least three people were killed and two injured in a road accident in Sahiwal on Sunday.
The incident took place at Kamalia Road when a truck and car collided with each other, resulting deaths of three people on the spot. Two others were also injured in the accident.
The injured and the dead persons were moved to a nearby hospital.
Motorway police have described over speeding behind cause of the accident. The truck driver managed to flee from the scene.
Police said further investigation was underway.
