KOCAELI, Türkiye: TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland opens on August 20 with 37 naval assets and a four-day showcase of maritime, underwater and defence technologies.
The second edition will run through August 23 at Gölcük Naval Shipyard Command and is scheduled daily from 9 am to 6 pm.
Türkiye’s largest military vessel, TCG Anadolu, will headline the naval display. Historic TCG Savarona, museum ship Yavuz and active submarine platforms will also appear.
The exhibition will feature the National Submarine, or MILDEN, test block. It represents a development stage in Türkiye’s domestic submarine programme.
Unmanned surface vessels will include Ulaq from Ares Shipyard and Meteksan, Havelsan’s Sancar, Aselsan’s Marlin and Dearsan Shipyard’s Salvo.

Meanwhile, Baykar’s Bayraktar TB2 and TB3 unmanned aircraft will feature in the aviation section. The display will also include the Turkish Navy’s Sikorsky SH-70 Seahawk helicopter.
Türkiye’s Steel Dome air-defence network will have a prominent presence. Systems on display include Gurz, Korkut, Goksungur, Siper and Hisar.

Roketsan will present missile and weapon systems including Tayfun, K+, KMC and Pusu. Competitions will cover unmanned underwater systems, unmanned surface vehicles and underwater rockets.
Daily flight demonstrations and tactical shows by SAT and SAS naval units are also scheduled.
