American tennis player Taylor Fritz named actor Sydney Sweeney as his celebrity crush during a YouTube golf video with David Dobrik, Nick Nayersina and Josh Richards.
The video, titled “We Played Golf With David Dobrik and Taylor Fritz,” appeared on the Nick Nayersina Two YouTube channel on July 23. Fritz answered “Sydney Sweeney” when the group asked him to identify his celebrity crush. The exchange appears in the original YouTube video.
Richards responded that Sweeney was “in the realm” for Fritz. The tennis player later referenced her again after hitting a strong drive on the golf course.
The comments followed Fritz’s split from influencer Morgan Riddle in April. The pair began dating in June 2020 after meeting through the Raya dating app.

People reported that Riddle ended the relationship after nearly six years. She had regularly appeared in Fritz’s player box and featured with him in Netflix’s tennis documentary series “Break Point.”
