Nine new engines imported from China were inducted into Pakistan Railways today.
Railways Minsiter Khwaja Saad Rafique inaugurated the locomotives in a ceremony held in Karachi today. It is first induction of new engines in PR in over 13 years.
The minister said, ‘Pakistan Railways need four hundred more engines to revamp the department.’
