Qadri who is calling for a “revolution” to topple what he calls a ‘corrupt’ government in Pakistan claimed that the provincial government has sent a notice to the security company ordering them to remove the PAT chief’s guards.

The PAT chief protested the move in strong words by saying that “Is this democracy, where we are not even allowed to protect ourselves”.

On the other hand, a MQM delegation led by Mian Ateeq also called on Qadri and strongly condemned the harassment and (arbitrary) arrests of PAT workers.

Earlier the MQM had also been in touch with the Prime Minister, Mian Nawaz Sharif.
