Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif visited Line of Control (LoC) near Jhelum today.
According to Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Army Chief was briefed about the situation on LoC by local commanders.While addressing troops in Jhelum, COAS appreciated morale and operational preparedness of troop on front line.
COAS also expressed his satisfaction and reiterated that any provocation along the LoC will be responded effectively.
COAS paid tribute to the officers and soldiers of Pakistan Army for their sacrifices and determination in the defence of country.
He said “The entire nation felt proud of the soldiers deployed in defence of the motherland”
