Islamabad: Chinese President Xi Jinping is to address a joint sitting of the Parliament on Tuesday.
The Chinese President will also inaugurate solar power system of the Parliament and hold a group meeting with the Speaker National Assembly and the Chairman Senate.
The visiting dignitary would later proceed to Aiwan-e-Sadr where he would be hosted by President Mamnoon Hussain.
An investiture ceremony for the Chinese President would be held at Aiwan-e-Sadr in which the visiting dignitary would be conferred upon Nishan-e-Pakistan.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, First Lady of China, First Lady of Pakistan and Lady in Waiting Maryam Nawaz would
also attend the ceremony.
Later, the President of Pakistan would host a luncheon in honour of the Chinese President and his delegation.
Afterwards, President Xi will depart in a special aircraft escorted by JF-17 upto the end of Pakistan’s airspace. – APP
